„Like ice in the sunshine.. I’m melting away on this sunny day“

Well, then I’ve got the right recipe for you! Popsicles are so easy to make and in the same time soooo delicious. I love them and I’m quite sure, you’ll love them, too! 🙂 Plus, they are really healthy and the best refreshment for hot, sunny days. You just need a few, simple ingredients which you might already have at home. You don’t even need an expensive ice cream machine.

As you have already seen in my recipe for porridge, there is no limit to your creativity! You can make your own ice-cream out of almost all liquids. Do you have a favorite smoothie, you love to have in the morning? Then, put some of it in your popsicle mold the next time! Or do you try to eat low carb and get desperate in summer because each ice cream is loaded with sugar? Then, I have the right recipe for you, guys!

So, let’s go! 🙂

Chia-Almond-Popsicles with Kiwi – one of my favorites <3

Chia-Almond-Popsicles with Kiwi (vegan & gluten-free)

(makes ca. 10)
500ml almond milk
50g chia-seeds
2 kiwi, peeled
some cinnamon for the cinnamon-freaks as I am O:)

1. Mix the almond milk with the chia-seeds and add some cinnamon, if you like it. If you love sweets, then you can add some xylitol, erythritol or stevia.

2. Cut your kiwis into slices or cut them into pieces. Put them in your popsicle-mould.

3. Pour the mixture with almond milk into the popsicle-mould over your cut kiwis. And put them into your freezer.

4. Wait for 4-5 hours and enjoy your healthy refreshment!

Chocolate-Protein-Popsicles (vegan & gluten-free)

(makes ca. 10)
500ml almond milk
60g plant-based protein powder
2 tbsp. cocoa powder

1. Mix everything and stir until there are no lumps left. Personally, I have the protein powder of Myprotein Vegan Protein Blend Chocolate*. It contains no soy and is made of pea-, rice- and hemp-protein without sugar added.

2. Fill your popsicle-mould with it, put your sticks in it and freeze them for 4-5 hours.

I’m sure, you’ll love them! You can also prepare them in the evening for the next day. So, you don’t have to wait for hours till you can enjoy them. If you don’t have a popsicle-mould, you can have one made of stainless steel to avoid plastic. You can use it for years and look like this: Edelstahl Popsicle Form*.

I’m not a fan of amazon for several reasons but you can use it as a search engine and order at the shop directly. Perhaps, there is a small shop nearby which can offer you one? Support your local business!

Do you already have an idea for your first self-made popsicles? 🙂
