Cacao meets banana – that’s all summer needs
There is really only one thing you can eat in these warm summer temperatures: Ice cream! And all the better if you only need two ingredients: cacao and bananas! It is only important that you use ripe, already slightly brown bananas, so they not only have the desired consistency but also a pleasant sweetness. For a particularly chocolaty taste, simply use your favourite type of Dein Kakao (self-promotion) and you can easily vary the flavour. Depending on which cacao flavour you choose, you can conjure up different ice cream. That’s why I always have a few ripe, sliced bananas in the freezer, so I can quickly and easily make ice cream that is not only incredibly delicious but also free of sugar and unnecessary additives.
Bananas are an all-rounder
Bananas are a fantastic fruit that not only brings natural sweetness but can also have numerous positive effects on our health. For example, they are rich in fibre, vitamin C, potassium and antioxidants. Potassium plays an important role in regulating blood pressure, while fibre can help your digestion and make you feel satiated. Vitamin C and antioxidants strengthen the immune system and help fight free radicals.
Bananas are the key to our sugar-free ice cream. Their natural sweetness gives the recipe the perfect taste without the need for extra sugar. You see, the perfect ingredient for your ice cream à la cacao nice cream! It’s a wonderful way to refresh yourself on hot summer days without sacrificing indulgence and health. Actually, it’s so simple that you don’t even need a recipe for it, but we’ll do it anyway for the sake of discipline… 🙂 Are you ready? Then let’s get started!
- 1 blender
- 2 ripe bananas
- 30 g cacao powder
- Slice your bananas and freeze them in the freezer for about 2 hours.
- Then put them in a blender with your cacao, powder and mix everything thoroughly on high speed. Put them in the bowls, add some decoration, and as always: Enjoy to the fully fullest!
Pimp my cacao nice cream!
Of course, I use my own cacao from Dein Kakao (self-promotion) and “Haselnuss” is just the perfect choice here. The subtle hint of roasted hazelnuts from Piedmont harmonizes indescribably well with the sweetness of the bananas. Well, I’m telling you: a poem! That’s why it’s always good to have some frozen, sliced bananas in the freezer. Just in case you get the urge. 🙂
Enjoy the summer, love, laugh, and live!
